Hang on!

It all happened so quickly! One minute I was standing on the platform, the next I was hurtling through the air, hanging on for dear life… I realized I was in a dollhouse and a giant lifted me up and was tilting the house. I had to hold on to the nearest thing that wouldn’t slide around the house. I  couldn't hold on for long enough so I had to let go. I  fell right through a window onto the giant's leg.  When I was on the giant’s leg I moved a bit  and the giant felt me on his leg. I was really scared. I  tried to run away but the giant kept on following me. I quickly ran around the corner but then the giant’s cat saw me. The cat started chasing me, so then there were two huge things chasing me. Thankfully a mouse ran in front of the cat. The cat got distracted and was chasing the mouse not me. And then  the giant’s mum called “dinner time” and then he had to go, then I ran away. Happily-ever-after. THE END

  1. Kia ora Wilbur! Thank you for sharing your writing with us. What a great idea to have a giant (and his cat) chasing you. Good thinking to distract the cat with a mouse and thank goodness for the giant's mum calling dinnertime!
I look forward to seeing more of your work.
